These beads were created on the idea of the Greek Worry Beads ("Komboloi"). 
It is believed that Komboloi (worry beads) are anti-depression and assist one whose life is not balanced and grounded. It helps in removing the mental stress of a human being and also in building a balance between his/her body and mind. 

Each strand has 13 beads strung plus 2 more on the ends. The object of these beads are for your intention.  You put in what you want to get back. The number 13 has many different significances in a number of different cultures and historys.
